Choosing an Outside Recruiting Partner? Look for 3 P’s!

You’ve decided to seek outside help to staff some critical roles within your organization – GREAT! There are thousands of recruiting partners to consider – from local agencies to national companies – so how do you know which one will deliver the best results for you? Here are 3 P’s that will help you find the best recruiting partner for your company:

1. PEOPLE – Identify the people who will be working on filling your open positions. If the agency has a specific person assigned to your positions, it’s a good sign that your open jobs will get the attention that they need.

2. PROCESS – Determine what type of a process is in place for recruiting and hiring candidates. If the process is specific and includes your input as the employer during multiple stages, it’s a good sign that your candidates will also each experience a convenient and systematic recruiting and hiring process.

2. PAYMENT – Understand how your company will pay for the talent that is recruited. If the payment structure is clear, but also allows for some flexibility based on your needs, it’s a good sign that you will be working with a long-term partner who has your best interests at heart.
